Raymond mill requirements for materials

Raymond mill is suitable for processing limestone, marble, bentonite, kaolin, calcite, quartz stone, putty powder and other materials. During the working process, there are certain requirements for the moisture, hardness and particle size of the material, only within its appropriate range. Grinding can ensure the working efficiency of the Raymond mill.

The humidity of the material by the Raymond mill: the humidity of the material by the Raymond mill is not higher than 6%. If the humidity of the material is too high, it will adhere to the inner wall of the equipment, and the material needs to be dried and then ground.

The hardness of the material by the Raymond mill: the hardness of the material suitable for the Raymond mill should not be too large, and the Mohs hardness is better below 7. If the hardness of the material is too large, it will cause greater wear and tear on the equipment, reduce the working efficiency of the equipment and even shorten the life of the equipment.

The particle size of the material by the Raymond mill: The Raymond mill requires that the feeding particle size of the material should not exceed 30mm, because the granular material is easily lifted by the shovel blade during the grinding and milling process of the Raymond mill, and is The grinding rollers are crushed into powder. If the particle size is too small, it will not be easily picked up by the shovel blade and will affect the grinding efficiency of the equipment.

Compared with other grinding equipment, Raymond mill does not have strict requirements on materials, and can process more materials.
